our Story

Growing up in the urban neighbourhoods of midwest America with a father owning a landscape design business and mother, a lighting designer, there was a clear defined path for my youth. As a child i would get picked up my dad every afternoon from school and he’d lace up my boots so i could help him on his landscape projects.

Soon after I started mowing my own lawns around the neighbourhood at the age of 8 which was the first time i understood how important outdoor environments are. I can remember up-selling clients and installing flowers during the spring. As time moved on into my high school years I started working in the hardscaping division of my family company. Driving diggers, tipper trucks, constructing decks … It wasn’t something I was forced into, It was something I loved.

After finishing my degree in landscape architecture I was offered an opportunity to move to Australia and work for a local landscape contracting company. After a decade I saw things could be done better. It was then I launched Boston Landscape & Design (the name of our longtime family business) and took on my first landscape design projects with our team.

Going through the processes I also saw a need for for affordable and good quality landscape lighting. I have worked diligently in designing, manufacturing, and selling just that.

We are continually adding new systems, team members, and alliances to perfect the process.
